Abstract
OUTline will address the ways in which Generation Z (Gen Z) college students navigate self-exploration and identity development by providing an online student support service that is reactive to the concerns of students coming out on college campuses. By examining contemporary coming out dynamics and the limitations of in-person programming for queer and trans students, I will justify the necessity for an intervention that maintains a student’s anonymity as they seek resources to assist them in negotiating their sexual identities. In order to achieve this, OUTline will take the form of an online forum where students can safely ask questions regarding identity development, sex education, mental health concerns, and other concerns that may arise and receive answers and resources from trained professionals and students within the campus community.
