Abstract
The WCU Food Systems Management (FSM) club is concerned that WCU student are not sufficiently aware of the negative impact that their current food habits and purchasing practices have on their health and the environment. Fifteen WCU students participated in educational sessions exploring their food purchasing habits, and the impact these habits have on the health of humans and the environment. Peer education on sustainability and nutrition was delivered through a supermarket tour, and the sharing of environmentally friendly, affordable meals at the start and end of the study.
