Aims & Scope

The Pennsylvania Economic Review, a refereed publication of the Pennsylvania Economic Association (PEA), is a scholarly journal directed at a broad audience of economists, researchers, and policy makers.

While the Pennsylvania Economic Review (PER) welcomes submissions containing an analysis of the Pennsylvania economy, it publishes scholarly articles and book reviews covering many economic topics and submitted from anywhere in the world. It encourages PEA members who present excellent papers at our annual conferences to submit their papers for possible publication in PER; however, it is open to contributions from all scholars and researchers. All articles undergo a double-blind review process prior to publication.

Note that the Pennsylvania Economic Review is featured in Cabell’s Directory of Publishing Opportunities in Economics & Finance, and articles are listed in the EBSCO database with full-text reference. PER is also listed in ABDC Journal Quality List.
