WCU Digital Commons History

West Chester University Digital Commons is the institutional repository for West Chester University, providing access to the scholarly and creative output of university faculty, students, staff, and affiliates. The repository was first established in 2013 under the name Digital Commons @ West Chester University under the administration of Science and Health Librarian, Walt Cressler. Since its creation, the site has evolved in contents and presentation, culminating in a site redesign over the winter of 2025-2026.
