Methylone

Methylone in Platinic Chloride (H₂PtCl₆)

Methylone, as a 10% hydrochloric acid solution, with platinic chloride reagent forms colorless rectangular plates and tablets that may grow individually or in stacks. The crystals grow abundantly and in composites when methylone amounts are greater than 10 μg.

The crystals are amenable for IR microspectroscopy and yield information-rich spectra.
