Butylone

Butylone in Platinic Bromide (H₂PtBr₆)

Butylone with the platinic bromide reagent forms large rosettes of yellow flat blades and tablets. The rosettes feature a few long blades with curved sides giving the rosettes a characteristic bow like appearance. The crystals are bright with various interference colors under crossed polars. The crystals grow abundantly within 10 minutes with butylone amounts as little as 5 μg.
