Analysis of rovibrational spectra of diatomic molecules
This video explain the appearance and analysis of the rovibrational spectrum of HCl acquired with an FTIR spectrometer. The appearance of impurity peaks associated with H2O and CO2 is explained as well as how to analyze the data using combination differences to obtain molecular constants.
